Kolomiets Group carries a family name documented since 1581 — from Cossack officers of the Lubny regiment in the Poltava region of Ukraine, through dekulakization, the Great Terror and two emigrations, to the cities the group calls home today: Kharkiv, Tel Aviv and London.

Four and a half centuries, two bloodlines — Cossack and Ashkenazi — reconstructed from 54 audio recordings, Cossack registers, parish books and DNA analysis. The full genealogy lives on its own archive.
